Waarom zou je de spieren en het bindweefsel in je lichaam bewegen met sporten en dat niet willen doen voor de 52 spieren in je gezicht?
Je zult in yogalessen vast wel eens hebben gehoord om je ogen, je gezicht, je kaak te ontspannen. En je hebt misschien gehoord waar energielijnen in ons gezicht, hoofd en nek lopen. Door de spieren in ons gezicht te bewegen, te bewegen en te masseren brengen we bewustzijn van opgeslagen spanning, mimische patronen, emoties en stress naar de oppervlakte.
Net als bij lichamelijke asanas kunnen we daar dan iets mee. Zoals bij veel vormen van yoga, is het ontspannen van ons zenuwstelsel een doel. En natuurlijk betekent het stimuleren van de bloedsomloop dat je natuurlijk collageen aanmaakt, door de bloedstroom, zuurstof en water door je systeem te stimuleren. Dit verzacht lijnen en spanning en opent ruimte in ons gezicht. En het brengt ons zenuwstelsel in evenwicht. Ervaar wat faceyoga voor jou kan betekenen.
Je leert over onze gezichtsspieren, fascia, huid, patronen, emoties, manieren om te masseren, om het gezicht te versterken en te verzachten. Zowel met onze handen, een Gua sha tool en gezichtscups. Hierdoor voelt je lichaam, gezicht en geest lichter aan.
Contra-indicaties: wanneer je recent een botox- of fillerbehandeling hebt gehad. Een arm/handblessure of - aandoening. We doen veel met de handen en armen.

Why move the muscles and connective tissues in your body and not the 52 muscles and many ligaments, fascia in your face?
You will have heard in yoga classes to relax your eyes, your face, your jaw.
And you might have heard, where energy lines run in our faces, heads and necks. By moving the muscles in our face, moving and massaging the skin we bring awareness of stored tension, mimical patterns, emotions and stress to the surface. As with bodily asanas, we can then do something with that.
Like with many forms of yoga, relaxing our nervous system is a goal. And of course, the stimulation of circulation means that you produce natural collagen, by boosting blood flow, oxygen and water through your system. This softens lines and tension and opens up space in our faces.
Again, balancing out our nervous system.
Join me in this 3-hour workshop from 14:30 – 17:30 and experience what face yoga can do for you. You will learn about our facial muscles, fascia, skin, patterns, emotions, ways to massage, to strengthen and soften the face.
Both with our hands and with a gua sha tool and facial cups. Leaving your body, face and mind feeling lighter.
What to bring?
Your face. If you have a gua sha, you may bring it, just as a facial oil that you really love.
Wear comfortable clothes, with an open neck and chest.
You will receive a resin guasha tool. & a video afterwards to practice with.
Contra-indications. Expect to do a lot with your hands. If you have had fillers or botox done recently, the sensation will be harder to feel.
Lower Face 5-week challenge ONLINE pre-recorded - anytime
The lower part of our face is the foundation of the face and the connection between the upper part that holds our brain and the throat, shoulders & respiratory system. It contains the strongest muscle in our body, the jaws and holds the biggest whole, the mouth.
In this 5 weeks lower face yoga challenge we will discuss the muscles, the correlation to face mapping, the energy lines and how releasing tension and strengthening can help emotions and appearance.
No previous face yoga experience is needed, and can be helpful.

You will be fully taken care of and guided through this week, as well as have enough free time to explore.
